Maruhan Code of Conduct
By adopting “Maruhan-ism”—a concept comprised of management policies, company mottos, corporate stance, action guidelines and the philosophy of providing exceptional value—Maruhan employees can give customers valuable entertainment services. Moreover, they can gain an important raison d'etre of contributing towards the creation of a bright, vibrant society.
To this end, Maruhan must be a company that responds to social demands, and that fulfils its social responsibilities by establishing sound management practices and complying with laws, regulations, and social norms.
Based upon these principles, Maruhan has adopted the following ten rules as a comprehensive code of conduct, and will adhere to these in carrying out business. If any cases that run counter to these rules arise, the top management will strive to ensure the issues are properly resolved, their causes investigated, and their recurrence is prevented. Furthermore, we will implement both full public disclosure of such information and of accountability, and shall ensure strict punishment for involved parties.
